Who is responsible

Quadros Bio Inc., a Canadian federal corporation with its registered office in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, is responsible for the personal information described on this page. Questions and requests can be sent to privacy@quadrosbio.com.

The Farmer's Voice survey

The Farmer's Voice is a national listening exercise for Canadian farmers, sponsored by Bioenterprise Canada and powered by Quadros Bio. It runs to 30 November 2026 and results in one free public report.

The survey is anonymous. The survey does not ask for your name or the name of your farm, and no response carries an identifier that links it to you.

Your email address, if you give one. An email address given at the end of the survey is stored in a separate table from responses, with no identifier connecting the two, and the times at which the two are written are recorded to the day so that they cannot be matched by time. The address is used to send you the report. If you also select "Yes, keep me posted", it is passed to Bioenterprise Canada on the date the report is published, and not before, so that Bioenterprise Canada and Quadros Bio may write to you about future surveys and findings; that consent is recorded with its date and may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link carried in every message. The address is not used for any other purpose. You may ask for it to be deleted at any time by writing to privacy@quadrosbio.com.

What Bioenterprise Canada receives. Bioenterprise Canada is the sponsor and partner of this survey. It receives the published report, the count of respondents arriving through each channel, and pooled answers to the closed questions. It does not receive individual responses or written answers. Email addresses are held by Quadros Bio while the survey runs. On the date the report is published, Bioenterprise Canada receives the addresses of the farmers who selected "Yes, keep me posted", and no other address. The published report is released to respondents, to Bioenterprise Canada and to the public on the same date.

The gift card register. Farmers who complete the survey may register for a gift card on a separate form. That form asks for a first name, a farm name, a town, an email address or a telephone number, and, at your option, a farm address and a province, together with the claim code shown on completion. These details are held in a separate register that carries no response and no identifier from the survey, and the claim code records only that a survey was completed, not which one. The details are used solely to confirm eligibility and to deliver the gift card, and are not sold. Where Bioenterprise Canada, the sponsor of the gift cards, delivers them, it receives only the details required for delivery. The register is retained for as long as is needed to deliver the cards and to resolve any query about them, and is then deleted.

How long responses are kept. Responses are kept for twelve months from the date the report is published, and are then deleted. Email addresses given in order to receive the report are deleted once the report has been sent, unless you selected "Yes, keep me posted", in which case the address is kept, by Quadros Bio and by Bioenterprise Canada, until you withdraw that consent.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with Quadros Bio, we may collect:

• →Contact information such as name, email, organization, title, and country
• →The Farmer's Voice gift card register: a first name, a farm name, a town, an email address or a telephone number, and, at the registrant's option, a farm address and a province, held separately from survey responses
• →Company information such as website, stage, product category, market focus, and partnership interest
• →QBIView assessment responses
• →Uploaded files or supporting information submitted by users
• →On The Spot public profile information approved by a company
• →Investor or strategic partner inquiry information
• →Payment and billing information processed through Stripe
• →Technical information: IP address, user agent, and referring URL, recorded when a tracked link is opened, when a gated document is unlocked or viewed, and by our analytics providers
• →AI assistant chat interactions, where applicable

How we use your information

We use submitted information to:

• →Generate QBIView assessments and reports
• →Respond to inquiries
• →Provide advisory services
• →Manage On The Spot listings and company profiles
• →Evaluate Gateway readiness
• →Facilitate introductions when explicitly authorized
• →Process payments and deliver receipts
• →Send transactional emails and service communications
• →Invite growers to The Field's Voice survey by email and send one reminder, with a one-click unsubscribe link in every message
• →Send the published report of The Farmer's Voice to respondents who requested it and, only with their express consent, pass their address to Bioenterprise Canada on the date the report is published so that Bioenterprise Canada and Quadros Bio may write to them about future surveys and findings, with a one-click unsubscribe link in every message
• →Confirm eligibility for, and deliver, The Farmer's Voice gift cards
• →Improve website functionality and service quality
• →Maintain security, compliance, and business records

What we do not do

• →We do not sell your confidential assessment data.
• →We do not publish QBIView responses.
• →We do not share startup assessment reports with investors, strategics, or third parties without explicit permission.
• →We do not use public AI chatbot conversations as a secure channel for confidential submissions.
• →We do not store full payment card numbers.

Sharing

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

• →With service providers that support our website, platform, payments, email, database, hosting, or AI assistant functionality.
• →With investors, strategics, startups, or partners only when the relevant user has authorized an introduction or disclosure.
• →With Bioenterprise Canada, the sponsor of The Farmer's Voice: the published report, the count of respondents arriving through each channel, pooled answers to the closed questions, and, where Bioenterprise Canada delivers the gift cards, the registrant details required for delivery. Individual responses and written answers are not shared. Email addresses are not shared, with one exception: on the date the report is published, the addresses of respondents who gave express consent to be kept posted are passed to Bioenterprise Canada.

• →In connection with a business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Public versus confidential information

Information submitted for a QBIView assessment is confidential by default. Information submitted and approved for an On The Spot profile may be published publicly. These two data categories are separate.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or withdraw consent regarding personal information. Canadian users may have rights under PIPEDA. Brazilian users may have rights under the LGPD. Users in the European Union and the United Kingdom may have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Data deletion

Users may request deletion of personal information and account data, subject to legal, tax, contractual, dispute-resolution, backup, security, and legitimate business retention requirements.
